ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people affected by disaster worldwide. Shelter Box responds instantly to natural and manmade disasters by delivering boxes of aid to those who are most in need.
Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and essential equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless.
In 2010 Shelter Box and BSA joined up to crate a site to get Scouts involved with Shelter Box.
Scout Leaders looking for information on activities to do with their units can be found here.

If you are looking to donate to Shelter Box please consider making a donation by visiting my FirstGiving page.
My goal is to help raise $5000, enough to sponsor 5 Shelter Boxes. All donations are secure and sent directly to Shelter Box USA by FirstGiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation.
