I’ve done a few iPhone app posts before. As times change so do the apps. Here’s my current top 20:
Pocket Universe: Virtual Sky Astronomy
Pocket First Aid & CPR from the American Heart Association
Classic Camping Cookbook & Meal Planner
What’s your favorite Scout related apps?

I don’t have an Android device but I’d be interested to hear/share what’s available…

I’m on the Cubbing side of things. I like bragvest and bragvest lite. The paid version allows for multiple scouts. When it comes to knot apps, it’s hard to beat Animated Knots by grog. He’s the king. The app is a couple bucks more than the app you referenced, but it’s worth every penny.
Keep up the great work with the blog!

I’m with Matt. I like the Animated Knots by Grog. One I have found useful from the Cub Scout side is PackBadges. Adam pointed it out to me, and I like it better than Bragvest. It’s always good to have options!

Any idea where the BSA Handbook for iPhone went?

Honestly I’m not sure. At some time last year it was announced that they were going to be releasing a supplement app for merit badge tracking (there’s already a few good ones available but this one would be from BSA directly.) http://www.scoutingnews.org/2010/12/15/merit-badges-iphone-app/ Supposedly it would incorporate with the existing BSA Handbook app if you already had it installed. A few months ago the BSA Handbook app disappeared from the app store and I was hopeful that was an indication that the new app/update would soon be available. I’d say they missed the goal of “early 2011″.
