He really enjoyed it and he’s great bridge while the boys develop their own leadership experience; (Unfortunately part of the call was to say he can’t make it this week).
For Scouting that was about it besides checking in on all the #100DaysOfScouting blogs. One after another I’m getting great ideas to take back to our Troop. Thanks everyone.
I did my good deed today by donating blood at a blood drive at work. A Good Deed Daily is still some thing I try to practice on a regular basis though I often judge myself as falling short. The challenge for me is in finding something worthy (in my mind) of being a good deed and not just something I think all good people should do naturally.

The Scouting practices tend in a practical way to educate the boy out of the groove of selfishness. Once he becomes charitable he is well on the way to overcome or to eradicate the danger of this habit…
We put into [the Scouts] activities the practice of Good Turns in his daily life as a foundation of future goodwill and helpfulness to others.
Do you still encourage your Scouts to do a daily good turn?
